Chloe --ARPH #8497
|
Chloe is a wonderful, outgoing and loving girl
who is looking for an active home that will give her lots of things to do.
She loves to go for walks, ride in the car, and play. Because of Chloe's
high energy level, she needs a family with older children and no cats
because she wants to eat those fast furry things. Chloe is young,
and eager to learn and show off how smart she is.
For more information on Chloe contact
Kathryn.

Clint -- ARPH #9998
|
I'm Clint and my foster
mom says that I am the Perfect Dog, just like David Allen Coe sang the
perfect country and western song.
I had terrible hip dysplasia
and had Femoral Head Ostectomy on each hip. The cost of the
two surgeries and the rehab was $3000, and we still need a little more
money to pay for the rest of it.
I had surgery on my right
hip on Jan. 18 and my left hip on Feb. 25. After 12 sessions of
physical therapy following each surgery, Dr. Van Hooser said that my hips
are looking great and I'm ready for a new home. As you can see I'm
standing quite well and my hair is growing back! I'm being fostered
in Montgomery, AL.
I am neutered, housebroken, great with all dogs,
fine with cats,
good traveler and a true people magnet. I love kids so much and like for
them to pet me all the time. To top it all off, I am only 4 yrs
young, so I have many years of joy/love/comfort/companionship to offer. If
would like to adopt me, please contact robinmccann@bellsouth.net
If you haven't already filled out an adoption application you can find one
at www.aussierescue.org
Clint wishes to thank the following sponsors;

Annette
Loflin, Joe and Karen Panza, Dennis and Pam Leitz, Dick and Diane Salsitz,

and Pat Hey, Wanda Lowe, Donnie and Lori Herrin, Roxane Conrad, Amy
Williams.
A huge thanks goes out to
Dr. Bill Van Hooser and Stephen Saliba at Carriage Hills Animal Clinic in
Montgomery, AL. Dr. Van Hooser is a great surgeon and gave us a
discount on Clint's surgery. Stephen is the best physical therapist
a dog could hope for and has helped me gain strength by walking on an
underwater treadmill.
All donations are
tax deductible.

Dixie -- ARPH #9633
|
I'm Dixie and will be two years old on May
1. I'm a very loving girl, but have a LOT of energy. Tracy
says she'll only consider a very experienced owner for me who leads a very
active life. I do better when there is another dog in the home and
live for my tennis ball. I adore going for runs and walks. I'm
an athletic girl who can jump up to look over a 6 foot fence.

Hoot
-- ARPH #10149
|
Hoot is a great guy who came from the animal
shelter in Baton Rouge. He kept jumping the fence to go roam the
neighborhood. Why? Because he wasn't neutered.
Now that he's in foster care, Hoot doesn't
want to go anywhere. He just likes to hang out with Chuck &
Clair, his foster parents.
Not only did his owners not get Hoot
neutered, they didn't give him heartworm preventative (a necessity in
Louisiana). Therefore Hoot has heartworms and is currently being
treated for heartworms. Won't you consider sponsoring Hoot
and helping pay for his heartworm treatment? Just designate your
donations for Hoot's heartworm treatment. Be sure to put his number
10149 on your form.
For more information on Hoot contact Tracy.

|
Marley was dumped at a shelter in South
Alabama, we think by a breeder who no longer found her useful. She's
a sweet red merle girl who gets along well with other dogs and with
people. Marley is 5 years old.
Marley has heartworms and will need to be
treated before she can be adopted. Won't you consider sponsoring
Marley and helping pay for her heartworm treatment? Just designate
your donations for Marley's heartworm treatment.
Many thanks to Joy Meadows for her

Zoe -- ARPH #10148
|
Zoe is a three year old female Aussie who was
turned into the shelter in Knoxville, TN because her owners were
divorcing. She is a sweet girl who is shy and learning what it's
like to be part of a home. Rosie & Roscoe, the resident Aussies
in her foster home are showing her the ropes.
Won't you give Zoe the forever home of her
dreams?

|
Sheba is an Aussie between one and two
years of age who cam from the animal shelter in Anniston, AL. The
mystifying thing is that she is housetrained and knows about being on the
couch with people. Sheba has no behavioral problems and is a great
girl who will make someone a wonderful companion.
